Belgian beers use a far broader palette of ingredients (fruits, spices, esoteric yeast strains) than German or English styles. Jeff found the Belgian approach freeing. Upon his return, Jeff created Fat Tire and Abbey Belgian Ale, (assuming Abbey would be his big gun). He and his wife, Kim traveled around sampling their homebrews to the public. Fat Tire’s appeal quickly became evident. People liked everything about it. Except the name. • Lukenbock, South Austin Brewery (7% abv.)
The real thing can be hard to find. Like a certain hill country hamlet that’s as much legend as it is metropolis. Yep, Luckenbach can be an illusive mistress as you search the backroads around Fredericksburg. It may only be 13 miles away, but it’s a lifetime apart. You feel it in your bones. The tunes sound better, the ‘cue tastes better, and the beer feels colder. Maybe that’s why so many Texas songsmiths make the pilgrimage. This isn’t about keeping up with the Jones’. This is keeping a haven of soul quenching authenticity in an increasingly FUBAR world. Sort of like another kind of bock—a proud but often abused brew with a strong Texas history. To taste the real thing is an inspiring experience. The brew you’re holding was painstakingly brought back to the basics with real caramel malts and a lagering process worthy of German discipline. Amidst a sea of pretenders, we have finally created a beer worth of bock. So we’re taken’ its name back. Luckenbach, meet LuckenBock. Because going the extra mile or 12 is always worth it when you’re looking for the real thing. A Doppelbock style of beer. Brewed by South Austin Brewing Company Austin, Texas.

  • Solid Rock Dauntless IPA (7.1% abv.)
This IPA is a medium bodied, mildly bitter ale with a forwardly intense floral and fruity hop aroma balanced with a blend of European and American malts that lend a smooth finish leaving you wanting the next drink. An English India Pale Ale. Brewed by Solid Rock Brewing Company, Spicewood, Texas.
  • Solid Rock Cornerstone (5.4% abv.)
Our Cream Ale is a smooth, soft-bodied ale exhibiting a light golden color, gentle hoppiness and a fruity aroma with a bright, clean finish. Brewed to be thirst quenching with a more moderate alcohol content than our other brews, it is an excellent quaff to enjoy out on the lake on a hot afternoon. Less filling and lower in alcohol, it is intended to appeal to experienced ale drinkers looking for a session-able beverage, as well as serve as a ‘gateway’ craft ale for drinkers who are curious about craft beers, but may find the taste and alcohol levels of most craft brewed ales over-powering. This brew is a real crowd pleaser for all tastes and appeals to both the male and female segments of the market. A great choice for a chardonnay lover.  A Cream Ale style of beer. Brewed by Solid Rock Brewing Company, Spicewood, Texas.
  • Stella Artois (5.2% abv.)

  • Odell 90 Shillings (5.3% abv.)
Richer than most amber ales, 90 Shilling is smooth & deeply satisfying, with a crisp, clean Colorado taste. The name comes from the old Scottish method of naming a brewery’s beer, based on original gravity and resulting tax rating.
  • Odell IPA (7% abv.)
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from England to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful – American style. We’ve added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride! Odell Brewing Company Fort Collins, Texas.
  • Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter IPA (6.2% abv.)
Hop Hunter IPA harnesses the complex flavors of just-picked hops through an all-new method of steam distilling wet hops before they even leave the fields. This revolutionary technique captures and intensifies the natural flavors, creating a unique and intensely aromatic beer. Our custom process gathers pure hop oil which, when combined with traditional whole-cone hops in the brew kettle and in our Hop Torpedo, makes for an incredible IPA experience. An India Pale Ale. Brewed by Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Chico, California.
  • Guinness (4.1% abv.)
A feature of the product is the burnt flavor that is derived from roasted unmalted barley, although this is a relatively modern development, not becoming part of the grist until the mid-20th century. For many years a portion of aged brew was blended with freshly brewed beer to give a sharp lactic flavor. Although the Guinness palate still features a characteristic “tang”, the company has refused to confirm whether this type of blending still occurs. The draught beer’s thick, creamy head comes from mixing the beer with nitrogen when poured. Brewed by St. James’s Gate, Dublin, Ireland.
